Rest In Peace to thee late great can't believe 14yrs. have passed and his influence has never left. Growing up he is one of the people who helped me formulate my outlook on life because he always stressed to "USE YOUR BRAIN THINK" he was a philosopher in my eyes and if it weren't for him I probably wouldn't be as open minded as I am and probably wouldn't have even taken a philosophy class my first semester of College. However whenever I was going through a tough time whose music did I cut on to get me through not Soulja Boy, Nicki Minaj, Wacka Flocka Flame it was Pac the gemini. Who can do the same thing in movies that they can in music? Pac The Gemini Poetic Justice and Juice are still my all time favs nonetheless I still need to see Above the Rim. A Bond That Can't Be Broken... LIFE SENTENCES

Ok the Title of this post was a punchline that I thought of last night and I was going to use it in one of my songs but I figured it just fit best for this post. I just want to take the time out to give recognition to two of my closest friends and their relationships. Now i'm not big on relationships since i'm still young and on my list its the least of my focus right now because they take so much to maintain them but I feel like when you find someone who brings you complete happiness then more power to you. Well two of my closest friends have found that and the vibes I get from being around them and their mates are incredible. I can just feel the love in the air and get that feeling that they are in it for the longterm. Relationships are much harder than they look and so much more than just cute flicks and cheap dates lol But what I admire about these two couples is that being around them I love how its more than just boyfriend and girlfriend they have a special friendship bond that bring them together which is what so many couples lack these days and I commend them for that.

One thing I really admire about My Big Sis Candido and Bro Torry is that they both have that special relationship with the man upstairs personally and I can tell thats what brings them together. Being with Torry he always reminds me that I need to pray more especially when he prays before he eats every meal I think thats the most adorable thing lol I can tell he has always been on his A Game with things because Candace is a woman with complete Standards and not just anybody can get with her plus he is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met it didn't take much for him to win me over and be good in my book lol Good Job Torry keep making my sis happy and I'll be there at the wedding lol

As for Ash and Brandon man oh man Kudos to Brandon kuz I def know it wasn't easy getting with Ash lmao Boy did you have a chase. Its all good though because you and I both know she was worth it. You Guys have had your ups and downs but its been more ups. I love being around you guys as well. Brandon you are a character you always have the jokes and keep us laughing aha I have to give kudos to you as well because Ash has been hurt plenty of times and you gave this woman the stregnth to feel like she could love again it takes a hell of a man to do that. Ash is a strong minded, intelligent and beautiful young woman but we both know that she is a handful lol But for her to have kept you for this long I know you're doing something right so keep it up.

So I will be attending College in the fall and I don't think I have let my readers know which College I have chosen to attend. After a lot of other people being upset by the choice i've made and others telling me I made the right decision I am happy with my college selection. Even though its close to home I feel like it will be an interesting school for me to grow into my adult hood with. So With that Being Said I will be attending CSULB.

Drake - Thank Me Later Album Review.

For the first time since Wale's Attention Deficit I actually went out and bought an album
1. Fireworks
Honestly I liked the original leaked version of this song where it was just Alicia singing w/o Drakes added hook. However I still found myself listening to this version as well.
2. Karoke
Ehh song is mediocre. I wasn't really feeling it in particular I think Drake using the autotune wasn't really needed.
3. The Resistance
Loved this song its the typical original Drake we got to know with the honesty. He wrote this like a So Far Gone type track letting his listeners know whats going on in his life from his grandma being in a nursing home to him getting some girl pregnant and her aborting it.
4. Over
Ehh one of the chosen singles he did. This track was more of a gloating track like Yeah I'm Drizzy I made it and middle fingers to those who don't like it. Yep I get it Drake.
5. Show Me a Good Time
Really Nice Beat Selection that takes you for a ride from the moment it starts. The song allows you to receive exactly what its titled: A Good Time. Most memorable quote "Living Nights that I can't remember with the people that I won't forget". Really a reminiscent reflective type song on those fun nightlife outings.
6. Up All Night ft. Nicki Minaj
One of those freestyling type songs that have to grow on you but its nice if you have an excellent amp system installed in your car.
7. Fancy (ft. T.I. and Swizz Beats)
Drake worked wonders with track however it is produced by Swizz Beats so that speaks for itself. This song is solely made for the ladies in order to boost their confidence and simply make them feel good before they go out. Also the breakdown at the end is one of my fav parts. Good Job Drake.
8. Shut It Down (ft. The Dream)
Another one of his songs made solely for the ladies. The beat is real mellow so you really have to turn your volume up to hear the song. But once thats done for the most part it is a really good enjoyable song that most women will sing along to in their song.
9. Unforgettable (ft. Young Jeezy)
The Aaliyah Sample was a good pick however I think the song should have been given a completely different approach and I feel like him and Jeezy aren't a nice collaboration. Also Jeezy's voice didn't flow well riding on top of an Aaliyah beat. Nuff Said.
10. Light Up (Ft. Jay Z)
Another song showing the changes that Drake is going through gaining stardom. The beat sounds really dark as if you need like a candle with you just to listen to it or something lol Idk thats just the feel it gives me. Then Jay-Z's part just makes me want to turn from the song becausae he starts talking that suspect I come from a higher power type madness sooo yeah NEXT.
11. Miss Me (ft. Lil Wayne)
Love the beat choice and Lil Waynes typical shii talking lol Depending on how long Drakes career rides out and with all his progression to come we will be able to figure out if we will Miss Him when he's gone.
12. Cece's Interlude
Another one of those tracks that are mediocre but I can skip over it w/ no regret.
13. Find Your Love
Another one of his singles that I absolutely loved. Hey Hey Hey haha yeah He did his thing on this one.
14. Thank Me Now
A great way to end the album.

Overall I give the album 7/10 It was a great album but not as impactive to me as it could have been for his first album. Usually when listening to someones first album it will stick with you like man that was good stuff but even though I'm playing it out now I have the feeling after awhile I'll get tired of it. Also I feel like he had too many features taking the main focus off of him the majority should have been just him as he had a point to prove after the anticipation from his album. A well put together album but doesn't go down as a classic in my book.

Yes I know i'm late I didn't really want to blog until I could upload these pix. But I made it. I graduated and celebrated with these very special people.

Soooo after weeks of going through prom dates and picking out suits and preparing everything for the occasion the night finally arrived. I took my best friend Eric and as I knew he would he came through for me and I had a night to remember. I admit right before I walked out into my champagne party I was nervous.  Worrying about being late and having my make-up put on right and my dress fitting how it was supposed to everything turned out excellent. I got all the reactions I expected seeing as majority of my family and all my friends rarely see this side of me so of course everyone was like who is this? lol But I have no complaints the limo crew was sooo entertaining between me and my girls we all picked the right dates for each of us. So with that being said, time for the feature presentation.
