So Yesterday I went to The Grove for the first time ever to go eat at the Cheesecake Factory with the fam since my cousin was in town for the holidays from college. (Sidenote* Tht Shii was Max Crowded) My mom told me to bring extra money just in case she runs out so I bring my envelope with my Christmas money and I place it on the table. When we're about to leave and we're finally in the car she was looking through her purse I realize I left the envelope on the table and of course I had to go back to get it no way was I not going to not go back.

(Fast Forward) After I get the envelope i'm on my way back to the car but of course we parked on the third floor and all the restaurants and stores are on the 1st floor so on my way back to the car I see a bunch of people standing around crowding the ground level parking lot. I started to hear like car noises so I thought it was a car show or something. So of course I have to be nosey and see what everybody is so astonished by so I happen to roam past security guards trying to back a crowd of people up and I end up right next to like this silver BMW(at least I think it was a BMW) and I ended up right next to the back door and window but it wasn't anybody in the backseat so I still didn't see what people were looking at.

Then I look up and see popparatzi taking pictures of the cars window so I lean over to look in the passenger window and instantly my jaw dropped everything cleared out of my mind and I was just staring in awe. Who do I see in the drivers seat? Mr. Kanye West himself! The rapper/trouble maker/arrogant asshole/Martin Louis the King Jr. lmao yu get the point. It was crazy kuz the nigga been in hiding since the Taylor Swift incident and it was like a game of Where's Waldo when you finally find the nigga. But for 2 minutes I just stared in his passenger window (his girlfriend Amber Rose was in the passenger seat of course) with my mouth wide open and all I can think is how the f'k did I just so happen to roam right next to this nigga car? and OMG THTS THIS NIGGA KANYE!

Of course everybody was taking pictures and showing their companions and I know you're thinking why didn't I take a picture myself. OK see here's the thing when I was finally able to pick my jaw up off the ground lol I got my blackberry out and soon as I did he drove off. I never froze up like that ever just staring in amazement lol and soon as he drove off I ran to find my mama. Yeah I was star struck like a mug Idk why though kuz its not the first time I been that close to a celebrity and before I just saw em' as regular people well I still do. I think its just the whole way that it happened because that shii was an accident lol I didn't mean to leave my envelope and if I didn't that woulda never happened!

The question most asked in one of my favorite movies of all time Brown Sugar is when is the first time you fell in love with Hip Hop? Well this post doesn't neccesarily have to do with the first time I fell in love with hip hop but it has to do with underground music because when I listen to underground artists I feel like i've fell in love with hip hop all over again The thing about underground artists is that their pure raw talent and they have this drive like no other. Underground artists put their passion and emotion into their music and I Love it when somebody can tap into the way I feel or change my mood drastically through a song. Thats one of the reasons I fell in love with music in the first place. I'm not really to fond of mainstream music anymore because it seems like once a lot of artists get signed they lose sight of what they were doing music for and thats the LOVE. They get caught up in the materialistic lifestyle and start rapping about topics they knew absolutely nothing about b4 they became famous. Can't really say its their fault in particular especially when record execs start telling them how to be them but thats a whole different story. Anywho enough of my rambling Here are some of the artists that I've discovered overtime or recently and have in rotation in my headphones.

Holiday Season

Thank God I get 3 weeks of from Carson High School low-key tired of that place but the most important part is I get to sleep in! WOOT WOOT! Anyways Christmas is around the corner I don't really have any spirit this year but I am ready for it though. I have a feeling it should be a blessed Christmas even though i'm not asking for much i'm going to cherish the things I do have. My Family, Friends, and a pot to piss in(just a figure of speech lol) oh and my health. I've realized the older people get the less they start to want. Holidays and festivities are more for the younger age-group. Another thing i've realized though is that when you start doing good deeds for people good things start to come your way. Anyways there's been so much going on in my personal life and i'm actually really proud of myself because with all the things going on in my personal life I feel like i've learned to balance my personal life and my educational life seperately and not let one get in the way of the other. I got my report card back today and I recieved 3B's and 2A's and even though thats good I won't be satisfied until I get straight A's now I know what Asian, African and Nigerian parents feel like -_- lol I've also gotten excepted into my first college last week so blessings seem like they've already been coming way. I've also finally gotten a Guitar Hero(technically Rock Band 2). It would be the best Christmas ever if I get my license i'd be like this =D which I think i'm taking on Thursday after my third session of behind the wheel training. Wish me luck. Oh yeah and i'm ready for Christmas Missions even if I have to do them myself. I've been learning my train stations and my streets which is a huge step for me because when it came to street-smarts(as far as a sense of direction) I had none. I guess some people just pick up on that in life as a child or are taught that but I never was and I never payed attention to the street signs I was always just someone who enjoyed the ride or went to sleep(which was a negative fault on my behalf). I tell my friends no one ever taught me to do that and they look at me like i'm just crazy lol but whatever though i'm putting myself on game now along with a small bit of help from them. I was studying the stops of the metros on the internet and they have some interesting histories especially the red-line. But yeah now I just need to learn which buses to catch i'm only familiar with the carson circuit and somewhat the torrance transit. Oh yeah and for the first time ever I put up some Christmas lights yayy me! lol

Friends Drift Like Waves in the Water

I've noticed that no matter how close you are to a friend and no matter how long you've known them by the time highschool hits or afterwards you just simply drift apart no matter what. It may not be that it happened intentionally sometimes it just happens, sometimes it could be over who your friend is dating, and sometimes it ends with argument either way it goes I hate to say it but most people even best friends just simply drift apart. When it first happened with my crew I didn't know how to handle it so what I did was try to prevent it from happening but what I've learned was you can't force the changes that happen in life to not change they will happen anyway and trying to prevent will only waste time cause things to end up worse in the end. Time to beware of drifting friendships: Senior Year of Highschool, College or after highschool, and even as an adult. Friends usually start drifting around these times because this is when people like to really start trying new things and the new things come along with being with new people then eventually you and these new people start hanging and they won't forget about their old friends but they just aren't around them as much. Could also be because your friend may have left you hanging or the other friend might get jealous because you're spending less time with them and they start feeling like they're being replaced. My advice for this is that if you know that is you best friend there is no need to lete jealousy come in the picture because you should know your role in that persons life and know you can never be replaced but you should also have this understanding that no matter how far apart you are from that person even if they start changing thats always going to be your best friend but life changings peoples mind frames as they start to grow up. Two years ago I was too young to understand this but now I get it. This week has been one of the craziest weeks and I've heard and whitnessed several situations of friends drifting. My advice to you guys is accept it. It will be natural for you to be sad, mad, even jealous about (just don't let jealousy take over your actions), and you will even look back at an old picture of you and your friend or you and your crew and be like damn we used to be super close what happened to us and my answer to that would be growth as people.

P.S. Sometimes it might not be growth but that so called friend may have betray you or have done you very grimey in a situation watch out for that and watch out for "Fakes" ya'll

Majority of the time when shii happens I sit back and ask the question of the blog post?
Why does shii have to be this way?

You Can't Help Everybody

The other day my dad told me I can't help everybody and I responded no I can't but I can help those that I choose to. This comment probably made him mad but hey thats just the way I see it. I know he said that because of some of the people I associate my self with and they don't always come off as people headed in the right direction but honestly at the end of the day I see people as people even if in the past they have acted as animals well not as animals but wrongfully. I'm sorry I just can't be judgemental because thats not my job. I've learned that I can't help somebody unless they want to help themselves and i've also learned that those who put up fronts like they don't want help are the ones who truly seek it the most. Often times they just don't lower that front until they come face to face with a life or death situation. I always finding myself helping my peers and feeding them knowledge and postive feedback on the situations they come to me about and the decisions they make but most importantly giving them an ear to listen. Sometimes I feel like thats all people need is an ear to listen and I know because I used to bottle everything up inside and let it eat me up because I had no one to listen to. A lot of times people who make dangerous decisions about something is because they had no one to talk to about it and to just listen to them about how they felt. Not all the time but a lot of the times. So all I want to say is if you know someone in need of help don't be afraid to lend a hand.

Dreams... Awake or Asleep

As I sit and watch my lil brother sleeping,
all I can wonder is what he's dreaming about.
Makes me think back on what did I dream about at that age.
Isn't It interesting how we have the ability to dream,

I remember the one day I just woke up happy for no reason
like I was just happy to be alive and that nothing could break
my spirit. Maybe one day I'll be able to wake up like that everyday.
Until then I'll keep dreaming. =D

I love skateboarding to death. Its taught me how to take risks, taught me how that I can do anything I want to do if I work hard at it, its taught me not to worry about what other people think and blockade out their discouragement especially when I just started and people were telling me to give up. Most importantly skateboarding has taught me how to be independent to the point where if I need to get somewhere and expect that if I ask someone for a ride the answer will be no I just skate there because I can transport myself. I love skateboarding even though its pretty obvious that you can see lol.

She is so outspoken and has a beautiful soul indeed. I think a great artist,

From His Good Hair Down To His Good Lucks I been peepin' him since the last play off game and finally I know his name thanks my fav kuzzo whom I miss dearly. I haven't actually seen him play on the court but he's got the looks down and thats good enough for me lmao besides i've always said if I were to play pro basketball for the wnba i'd be fine sitting on the bench because I get paid for watching my peers put on a show lmao and I don't even have to break a sweat =D.

Catching Feelings

Yeah I think I am and Friday just made it stronger. He been on my mind the whole weekend. Hope I see him today tht would make my weekend end almost perfecto. I hate catching feelings but if I find out tht its worth it in the end then i'll be fine. Even though I was turnt up I enjoyed every moment of being in his arms and listening to his heart beat. I know for sure if it's two people in the world that I want to make the proudest with success in life it's my mom and my role-model for some reason they're the only two people who tell me their proud of me no matter what I do even when I feel like I've dissapointed them with something they never change how they look at me and unconditional love is something that you can't ask someone to show you and something that everybody doesn't receive I'm grateful to have it in my life. I can say thank you numerous times but even that isn't enough in my eyes. Nuff Said though Just know I love ya'll more than words can explain.
